ABOUT THE TEAM
Matthew was an ambitious self-starter who thrived on bettering himself, others, and the local community. He is the founder of Smokin Thighs, LLC that focuses primarily on smoked and grilled poultry products without using a fryer.
After graduating with a recording engineering degree in 2002, Matthew took a turn in his career path by working in sales for the local Nashville manufacturing industry. Although he enjoyed his job and fellow co-workers, his friends and family would compliment him on his ability to make some great grilled food in any kitchen. So the idea of Smokin Thighs was born. Matthew has had great success in the past and used that momentum with Smokin Thighs LLC, Full Time.
Matthew lived in Nashville over 1/3 of his life, and at the time of his passing, lived in South Nashville with his beautiful wife Molly and their two dogs, Mr. Kitty and Ruby. When he wasn't at the smoker and grill, you could catch him boating on Nashville’s Percy Priest Lake or helping plan one of the next events in Nashville that would surely be the talk amongst friends.

Landon is originally from Ohio and moved here when he was 19. He has lived in Nashville for over 24 years and has been in the restaurant industry since he was 16. Making his career in the industry 27 years in total.
Landon spent a few years as a motivational speaker as well as a youth mentor. Using that skill set, he focuses not only on daily operations but also on the culture of Smokin Thighs being one of positivity and great culture for every employee.
Landon is the type of guy that puts his heart into everything he does and treats it like it is his own. With the passing of Matthew, Smokin Thighs has been no different. Landon worked along side Matthew for over five years learning the Smokin Thighs way of life. He carries this on every day at the restaurant in honor of Matthew.
When he is not focusing on Smokin Thighs tradition of great food and a "Cheers" type of atmosphere, he spends his down time with his wife Amanda. They love to travel and experience new places, new food and new people. When at home, you will find Landon in the kitchen or playing with Amanda and their fur babies. Two boxer dogs. Tucker and Charlee.
